Cascade Youth Platform

The Cascade Youth Platform is a vibrant dance performance opportunity that celebrates the achievements and talents of young people aged 11 . 25 in the South East covering Kent, Surrey & Sussex. The performance takes place every year, open to all abilities and welcomes a variety of dance styles.

This exciting event unites the community locally and regionally through an evening of dance performance, whilst giving young people the opportunity to share and perform in a professional environment.

The platform was really good fun and I got to perform in a real theatre which was amazing, I can't wait to perform next year! Youth Dance Participant

Cascade Youth Platform 2009

More than 70 young dancers from Kent, East Sussex and Surrey performed in the first ever Cascade Youth Dance Platform which took place at the Trinity Theatre in Tunbridge Wells in July 2009. The platform provided young people with a rich performance opportunity to showcase a variety of dance styles including contemporary, street, hip hop and ballet.

The Platform was supported by Hampshire Dance and Youth Dance England through the regional youth dance programme for the south east.
