About
Cascade Dance is a contemporary dance company focusing on education, community and performance in the South East. Based in the leafy suburbs of Tunbridge Wells, Cascade provides a variety of dance activities, events and performances to all ages, offering dance in a way that is accessible to everyone.
Although primarily a contemporary company, Cascade also offers a range of dance styles through their classes, workshops and performances including ballet, jazz, physical theatre, street and hip hop.
Cascade strives to be different in their approach to dance by providing activities that are fresh, creative and inspiring, opening up opportunities for people of all ages and abilities.
History
Cascade Dance was founded in January 2007 by Middlesex university graduates Ricia Coleman and Samantha Stringell. Discovering a lack of contemporary dance culture within Tunbridge Wells they decided to create a company in Kent that would reflect its growing success in places like London and Brighton.

Dancing in the South East 2009
Their experience and knowledge throughout years of dance education and training has given them a platform from which to launch Cascade Dance with an innovative and creative approach. The company continues to grow, collaborating with a range of dance practitioners and organisations in the South East.
