Cascade Dance is a contemporary dance company focusing on education, community and performance in the South East. Founded in Tunbridge Wells, Cascade provides a variety of dance activities, events and performance to all ages and abilities across Kent and the South East.
Although primarily a contemporary company, Cascade also offer a range of dance styles through their classes, workshops and educational work including ballet, jazz, physical theatre and street dance.
Cascade strive to be different in their approach to dance by providing activities that are creative and inspiring, offering high quality dance, accessible to all.
History
Cascade Dance was founded in January 2007 by Middlesex University graduates Ricia Coleman and Samantha Blackden. Discovering a lack of contemporary dance culture within Tunbridge Wells they decided to create a company in Kent that would reflect its growing success in places like London.
