Our Adult Collective formed in 2007 with a focus on providing additional training and performance opportunities to adults including semi-professionals, teachers, students, dancers and those with experience. The Collective has previously worked with Yael Flexer through Big Dance 2012, Loop Dance Company and Kent based choreographers, alongside creating their own work for theatre, camera and site specific.
Our work has been shown at both The Brighton Dance Network & South East Dance's Scratch Nights, Cloud Dance Festival and Cascade's own platforms. View our previous class work and performances here
Our Collective is open to dance enthusiasts, students, teachers, dancers, those with experience and semi-professionals who are interested in creating work for performance. The collective projects explore movement through the choreographic process and delve into range of improvisation techniques and contact work to devise & create.

Brighton Scratch Night, November 2018
Sidonie created and shared work 'Lagom' with the Adult Collective.
'Lagom' meaning balance, not too little, not too much.’ In this piece dancers explore what it means to find and lose stability both within our lives and our bodies. How much are we able to take risks, push beyond the norm and teeter in the unpredictable areas either side of perfect balance?
